It’s true! It’s back!

On a Tuesday, but whatev.

Almost a month of snow couldn’t keep me down. In honor of this, I went to one of my favorite thrift stores in the city.

I have to confess: I have a weird fear of mannequins but only when they’re used in museums for historical set-ups. I can’t explain it. They’re super creepy as stand in for pioneers and pilgrims. They’re okay in stores, even if they’re decapitated.

Raise your hand if you think bobby pins should ALWAYS be this cheap because you end up losing half of them.

My dad picked up a starburst clock like this at an estate sale a month or so ago except it’s gold and has more points (so, um, I guess it’s nothing like this one). There is currently a battle over who shall be the rightful owner of it, me or my sister. I’ll let you know when I have it hanging on my wall.

Tights and shoes together: it sounds like a good idea, but what happens when you get a hole or a run? That may not be an issue for most people, but this blog is called Andrea Disaster for a reason.

I’d like to see paisley come back in men’s wear.

Those glasses are GREAT. I’ve only ever seen them one other time at a now-defunct thrift store in Bellevue.

Check out the red head mannequin creeping behind double double toil and trouble.

You don’t see white glasses very often. Especially with sparkles. I think this needs to change.

Not on me, I look awful in white (too pale to pull it off), but the first person who does should e-mail their photo to me.
