Why Andrea Disaster?
When I was 18, I really enjoyed a song that mentioned a character named Ann Disaster. Since I'm Andrea, not Ann, I tweaked it a little. The fact that I'm prone to mishaps and rather klutzy just means it makes sense.

Trying to find the bright side in a ripped pair of tights

  • It gives my right leg a tiny bit of ventilation.
  • It looks bad ass, like I'm the kind of lady who has better things to worry about than her tights.
  • This bad ass-ness translates into walking with better posture.
  • An excuse to buy more pairs!
  • Not picking the runner is an exercise in resisting temptation.

When I was in high school, I had this pair of gold glitter fishnets that were actually held together with safety pins. Talk about badass! Or so I believed.
